Warranty Policy
This Warranty Policy is provided by Globalkeep and is effective as of April 27, 2026. This warranty applies only to products sold on the official Globalkeep website (ca.globalkeepebike.com).Globalkeep electric bikes purchased through other channels (such as Amazon, physical retailers, Best Buy, etc.) are subject to the warranty policies of those respective sellers.
For the Original Purchaser
We provide a 2-year limited warranty for every Globalkeep electric bike, excluding all consumable/wear-and-tear parts.
The warranty period begins on the date the original purchaser receives the bike.
For Subsequent Owners
We provide a 2-year limited warranty for every Globalkeep electric bike, excluding all normal wear-and-tear parts.
Subsequent owners must provide the original proof of purchase, including the original purchaser’s name and original order number.
The warranty period is still calculated from the date the original purchaser received the bike.
Notes
- “Original Purchaser” refers to the individual who purchased the electric bike directly from the Globalkeep official website.
“Subsequent Owner” refers to the second or any later owner of the electric bike. - If replacement of bike parts, accessories, or even the entire bike is required, shipping fees may apply. Please contact our customer service team for assistance.
For accessories purchased separately, we provide a 6-month warranty, as detailed below:
Accessory Warranty Policy
Within 7 Days of Delivery:
- Returns and exchanges are accepted.
- If the accessory has a quality defect, Globalkeep will cover the return or exchange shipping costs.
- If there is no quality issue, exchanges are not accepted. For returns, 20% of the order amount will be deducted as a handling/shipping fee (minimum $15).
After 7 Days of Delivery:
- Returns and exchanges are not accepted.
Important Notice
Normal wear and tear is not covered under warranty. This includes, but is not limited to:
tires, brake pads, bearings, chains, freewheels, handlebar grips, rubber moving parts, derailleurs, brake cables and housing, spokes, chainrings, stripped threads/bolts, tools, drivetrain gears, and similar items.
Battery Warranty
Due to the special nature of batteries, Globalkeep lithium-ion batteries are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for three (3) months from the original purchase date.
This battery warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Voltage surges
- Use of improper chargers
- Improper maintenance
- Misuse
- Normal wear and tear
- Water damage
Friendly Reminder
If an electric bike battery is not used for more than 15 days, prolonged inactivity may result in complete battery discharge and inability to recharge. This is considered user-caused damage and is not covered under warranty.
Proper storage method:
Before storing the bike, fully charge the battery and disconnect the battery from the bike.
Two-Year Limited Frame Warranty (U.S. Only)
We stand behind the quality of our electric bike frames. To fulfill this commitment, we provide a 2-year limited warranty on the frame, covering defects in materials or workmanship.
What Is Covered:
- Manufacturing or material defects in the frame under normal use.
What Is Not Covered:
- Damage caused by accidents, collisions, misuse, improper assembly, modification, or neglect
- Normal wear and tear
- Complete electric bikes with an original retail price under $600
- Frames used for commercial, rental, or racing purposes
How to File a Frame Warranty Claim:
Please contact our customer support team and provide:
- Original proof of purchase
- Clear photos of the defect
If approved, we will repair or replace the frame at our discretion.
Unless otherwise required by state law, the customer is responsible for shipping costs to our service center.
This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser within the United States and is non-transferable.
This warranty does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable state laws.
Wear-and-Tear Parts
“Normal wear and tear” refers to natural and unavoidable deterioration resulting from regular riding. These parts are not covered under warranty.
Common wear-and-tear parts include (but are not limited to):
- Tires
- Bearings
- Brake pads
- Chains
- Freewheels
- Handlebar grips
- Rubber moving parts
- Shift cables, brake cables, and housing
- Spokes
- Chainrings
- Damaged threads/bolts
- Tools
- Gearbox or drivetrain gears
Exclusions and Undisclosed Conditions
This warranty is void and does not apply to damage caused by any of the following:
- Improper assembly or installation
- Accidents, neglect, improper repairs, improper maintenance, or abnormal, excessive, or improper use
- Corrosion
- Unauthorized modification or installation of components, parts, or accessories not originally designed for or compatible with Globalkeep products
- Failure to perform maintenance or servicing at appropriate intervals as outlined in the product’s written instructions
